How to install zuma on your device
We offer three installation paths so you can choose what works best for your phone. Android users can download our APK directly from this page, iOS users can open zuma in Safari and add it to the home screen, and anyone on a computer can access our web platform without installation. All three paths lead to the same account and games — your balance and history stay in sync.

App vs. browser: which should you choose?
Our native Android app includes offline cache so you can browse game categories and review past bets even without internet — reconnect and your account syncs automatically. Push notifications alert you when a live-dealer table opens or a big match starts in Jakarta's Liga 1 schedule. The app also prioritises speed: live-dealer video loads in under two seconds on 4G and under four seconds on 3G. The iOS web app and desktop browser offer the same games and markets, but lack offline caching and notifications. Use the app if you are on Android; use the browser if you prefer not to store an APK file or if you are on iOS and your carrier or network blocks direct downloads.
Device compatibility and system requirements
Our zuma app requires Android 7.0 or later on phones and Android 9.0 on tablets. Most phones made after 2016 meet this standard. On iOS, we support Safari browsers on iOS 12.0 and newer, which covers iPhones from the iPhone 5S onwards. For desktop, any modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) works on Windows, macOS, or Linux. If your device is older than these minimums, you may experience slow loading or incomplete video playback — in that case, use our mobile-optimised web version at zuma.best, which works on older browsers.
Troubleshooting common installation issues
If the APK download is blocked, your phone may have "Unknown Sources" disabled in Settings. Go to Settings › Security › Unknown Sources and enable it, then try again. If you see a certificate warning during install on Android, this is normal for APKs from outside the Google Play Store — we at zuma sign our APK with our own certificate, verified by our domain. If the app crashes on startup, clear your phone's cache (Settings › Apps › zuma › Clear Cache) and restart. On iOS, if Safari says the page cannot be reached, check that your network allows secure connections and that JavaScript is enabled in Safari settings. If you see a blank screen after login, wait 15 seconds for the content to load — our servers may be syncing your account data.
Data, permissions, and account security
When you install zuma, we request permission to access your phone's internet, storage (for offline caching), and camera (optional, for account photo verification during KYC). We do not use your contacts, location, or message history. All data sent to our servers is encrypted via TLS 1.3, and your password is hashed with bcrypt so even our team cannot read it. You can enable two-factor authentication in your account settings — we will send a time-based code to your registered email or mobile number each time you log in from a new device. We recommend this step before you deposit funds or place live bets. If you lose your phone, log in to zuma.best from a browser and immediately reset your password and toggle off two-factor authentication temporarily so you can re-enable it from your replacement device. Your account funds are held in segregated bank accounts per local regulation, separate from our operational cash flow, so your money is safe even if our systems fail.
